Upto last day of admission : Nil
After the last date of admission & one day prior to the start of Training Program : 10% of Tution fees + S.T. (as applicable)
On the first day of the Training Program and onwards: 20% of Tution fees + S.T. (as applicable)
Admissions are strictly non-transferable in any other name and for any other Training Program.

Transfer will be allowed in consecutive two batches.

Admission Cancellation charges

Admission shall be cancelled, where students fail to attend first three lectures or fail to inform for absenteeism.
For international candidates: Refund if any subject to condition ‘a’ will be remitted through bank.
Students only with and above 75% of attendance will be eligible to appear for the final examination.
Students unable to appear for the examination shall inform the Training Co-ordinator.
Grade of certificate is based on the student’s average score in Unit Test, Assignment and Final Exam.
Unit Test – 35%,
Assignment – 15%,
Final Exam – 50%,
1% marks will be deducted for each un-disciplined behavior.
Criteria of Grade :
A+ – 90% To 100%
A – 80% To 89.99%
B+ – 70% To 79.99%
B – 60% To 69.99%
C – 50% To 59.99%
No Certificate will be issued to the students obtaining the marks – 49.99% & Below
Issue of Certificate:
Graduate Engineers will be awarded ‘Post Graduate Diploma’ and Diploma holders with ‘Post Diploma’ certificate, irrespective of the ‘Training Program’ content.
For all drafting training shall be awarded ‘Diploma’ certificate & for software training shall be awarded as “Training in ______ (software name)” certificate.
Candidates without any relevant qualification but having relevant design experience of more than 5 years shall be awarded ‘Diploma’ certificate.
Certificates are awarded after successful completion of Training Program.
Students shall collect certificates within one month of convocation or will be dispatched by any mode as suggested, on payment of necessary charges at student’s risk.
Certificate may be issued in absence of student, but only on submission of authority letter.
Duplicate certificate, stamped ‘Duplicate’ may be issued only on payment of charges as applicable.
Students will be awarded for Best performance with Medals, subject to Grade with A+ & A only.

Co-ordination & Communication:
SIT will entertain suggestions, requirements and specific feedback only in writing received through ‘Suggestion Box’.
Students are required to complete the Training Program and appear for examination of the same batch.
International Students are required to be thorough in English language, same being the ‘Medium of Instructions’.
Any change in mobile number, email ID or postal address for all communications should be informed immediately.
Change in lecture dates and timings will be informed on notice board of Website.
Full day lectures will be arranged looking at the need & requirement, with advance information to all.
Site visit will be arranged to industrial plants either in shut down, not working conditions or working conditions (except for HVAC, offshore engineering & Software training).
Parking is not allowed in front of the entrances of the adjacent offices/residences, with-in the lane. It is advised to park vehicles only in the “AUTHORISED PARKING” areas.
Library facilities are provided subject to its rules and regulations.
SIT will issue the invitation letter required for applying the VISA, specifying the duration of training program only. Students are forbidden from taking admission elsewhere for any other course or do any other activity during this period.
International students shall surrender their Original Passport on arrival at SIT, Mumbai that will be kept in safe custody and returned at the time of departure from India.
SIT reserve rights:
To change the Time Table in case of any unavoidable circumstances.
To change the Training Content any time as per the current job requirement.
To Change in the fee structure for future batches without giving any prior notification.
To debar students for undisciplined behavior.
All legal issues subject to Mumbai jurisdiction.
