About SIT
Suvidya Institute of Technology Pvt. Ltd. (SIT), is an ISO 9001:2015 certified organisation, was found in March 2002 with a vision to offer Industrial training programmes to Engineering Graduates and Diploma holders, which “Bridges the gap between the Academics and Industrial Practices” in Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) sectors.
Today the Institute is known globally for its contribution in skilled manpower development in Engineering industry and rewarded at many forums.
The setting up of Suvidya Institute of Technology Pvt. Ltd. (SIT) germinated from the single most thought of imparting quality education and job oriented trainings to enhance Employable Skill. Since 2002, the institute has successfully churned out batch after batch of students who are considered industry-ready and thoroughly professional.
In 2008, ‘SIT’ shifted to a state-of-the-art set-up, which is sprawled over 5,000 sq ft in Santacruz (E), Mumbai. About 300 students can undergo training at the facility at a time. Over two decades SIT has trained to 39 nationalities and successfully contributed to building the career of over 20000+ students through in-house and Corporate Trainings. These result-oriented students have played a vital role in the growth of the organizations within the country & across the globe.
SIT started spreading the wings to allied disciplines of engineering and developed various training programmes as per industrial need and engineering requirement. All trainings are turned into intensive training module to turn students into professionals and develop skilled manpower which will work independently and efficiently from day one in a job.
Our Founder
Mr. Vasant Dinkar Mestry, founder of ‘Suvidya Institute of Technology’ has done his M.Sc from Liverpool University, UK with specializing in Oil & Gas sector , MS in Mechanical Engineering from Atlantic International University and Piping Engineering from IIT.
During his work assignments, he realised the immense shortage of trained and skilled manpower in the industry. He further realised that a lot of time and money was wasted as many a time the projects or assignments had to be reworked upon as they failed in meeting a client’s specifications or needs.
Incorporating his own work experience and research, besides interacting with various authorities from the industry, leading piping consultants and looking at the future global demand, he conceived a robust and user-friendly basic module of piping.

Technological advancements have changed expectations from the personnel employed by the industry. We realize the criticality of shaping the personnel in a manner that fits present and future requirements of the industry.
Therefore, our prime focus has been to evolve our training programs and methods to create employable manpower in the field of engineering.
