Admission Terms & Conditions
:

  1. All SIT courses are precisely designed as per industrial job requirements, no job assurance but placement assistance is provided.

  2. Admission is given strictly only on submission of Admission Form, qualification documents and Contract Review document duly filled, signed and submitted along  with the Cheque/ Demand Draft/ Pay Order of requisite amount drawn in favour of ‘Suvidya Institute of Technology’, payable at Mumbai. For Outstation students’ fee are accepted by Demand Draft only.  

  3. Admissions are strictly non-transferable on any other name and any other course.

  4. In case of cancellation of admission deduction charges shall be as per the following.

    Upto last day of admission : 15% of total fee
    After the last day of admission & one day before starting of the Course : 30% of total fee
    On the first day of the Course and onwards : Not refundable, at any circumstances

  5. Admissions shall be treated, as cancelled, where students fail to attend first two lectures or fail to inform for absenteeism. In such cases, refer clause 4.

  6. Course Fee   :     Rs. XXXXX/- Fees include Tuition Fee, Course Material, Case Study Material,  Stationery, Site visit charges and Service Tax (w.e.f. 18.04.2006).

  7. The seat shall be confirmed only after receipt of minimum amount of Rs. XXXX/-. In case, the admission formalities are not completed on or before the last date of admission, then the seat stands transferred to the next batch.

  8. Name, Course & Batch No. to be mentioned behind all the payment cheques/ demand draft and 3 photographs.

  9. In case of Cheque bounce or returned for whatsoever reason, bank charges Rs. 200 will be charged.

  10. In case of batch transfer you have to pay additional charges as per the following details.
    Upto last day of admission : Nil
    After the last day of admission & one day before starting of the Course : 10% of total fee
    On the first day of the Course and onward : 20% of total fee

  11. Course material is issued only on completion of registration formalities and payment of fees.
  12. Students to bring their course material including scientific calculator for every lecture.

  13. Students are required to complete the course and appear for examination of the same batch.

  14. SIT is not responsible for the completion of course for irregular students.

  15. Students will not be permitted to come late, leave early or leave the classroom during the lecture hours, for any reason.

  16. 3 late comings will be marked as one absent.

  17. In case of absenteeism, students will collect notes from other classmates & if required can attend the additional lecture from other batch, on payment of Rs. 500/- per lecture.

  18. Students only with 75% of attendance will be allowed to appear for the final examination. Those less than 75% will be transferred to the next batch by paying transfer charges, refer clause 10.

  19. Attendance strictly only through Biometric Finger Scan Reader, manual attendance not allowed.

  20. Change in lecture dates and timings will be informed only vide SMS.

  21. Students are requested to inform the Training Co-ordinator, for any change in mobile number Email ID and postal address.

  22. On demand, full day lectures will be arranged once in a month with advance information to all.

  23. Site visits will be arranged at industrial plants either in shut down or not working conditions.
  24. Unit Tests and Assignments will not be repeated, for any reason, whatsoever.

  25. No marks are given for the assignments which are submitted late.

  26. Assignments should be collected within a month from completion of course.

  27. Grade of Certificate is based on the student’s average score in Final Exam (weightage given 50 %), unit tests (weightage given 25 %), and assignments (weightage given 25 %).

  28. Criteria for Grade - Distinction - 75 % and above, I Class – 60 to 74.99 % and II Class - 50 to 59.99 %.

  29. Students passing with second class in the first attempt shall be given opportunity of ‘Class Improvement’ to reappear for examination with additional fees of Rs.750/- duly paid. ‘Class Improvement’ will be allowed only once.

  30. Students shall collect certificates within one month of convocation/ certificate release.

  31. No Certificate is released for average score less than 50 %.

  32. Repeaters as well as student unable to appear for final exam will be allowed to reappear for examination with additional fees of Rs.750/- duly paid.

  33. Students appearing for re-exam will not be entitled for I class.

  34. Students shall be allowed to appear for the final exam only for 3 attempts. Students failing in the 3rd attempt shall apply for readmission.

  35. Repeaters will be allowed to appear for exam with next batch, no separate exams will be held.

  36. Library facilities are provided, subject to its rules and regulations.

  37. Parking is not allowed in front of other gates/ doors, advised to park only in the “PARKING” areas.

  38. SIT reserves right to change the Time Table, Course Content, without giving any prior notification.

  39. SIT reserves right to deny admission to any student or to expel any student at any time during the course, who fail to follow above rules and regulations, without giving any reason and returning fees.
